Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School
Each One Teach One

Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School is the only remaining (K-8) Catholic school in East St. Louis, IL.  An anonymous donor in the Archdiocese of St. Louis will give up to $25,000 if we can raise $25,000, in this Each One Teach One effort. Their holistic learning approach and Education Through Music and the Arts program is integrated into their daily curriculum. Every student plays violin and participates in praise dance, choir, and the visual arts.  Representatives from the Community and School share their story of this amazing school. The Violin Special Group and Liturgical Praise Dance are also showcased in the video below – Please plan to join us.

In recognition of the Beatification of Blessed Michael McGivney, the Knights of Columbus are extending a special membership offer in honor of our founder.

SPECIAL LIMITED TIME MEMBERSHIP PROMOTIONAL OFFER:

Through 11:59 p.m. ET on June 30, 2021, new members are being offered FREE ONLINE MEMBERSHIP for the first year.

Simply visit kofc.org/joinus and enter the code MCGIVNEY2020 to take advantage of this special offer.

Father McGivney was faced with a pandemic in the 1880s, as we are today. In the face of that pandemic, he persevered in his efforts to evangelize those in his community, to form his parishioners in their Catholic faith, and to grow the Knights of Columbus. As his spiritual heirs, we can do nothing less.

Our pastor needs the Knights of Columbus. Our fellow parishioners need the Knights of Columbus. Those impacted by COVID-19 need the Knights of Columbus. Just as our holy founder surely would, we are resolved to Leave No Neighbor Behind, and to offer every Catholic man of the parish an opportunity to join the Order that Father McGivney founded some 138 years ago.
